Updates from Interzoo 2010

With Interzoo 2010 kicking off this week be sure you will see some of the latest and greatest aquarium innovations that we have seen in a while. LED technology sure to be the hype of the event.

CerMedia releases a new ultra high surface area media for both Fresh and Saltwater applications. With composition similar to natural live rock "MarinePure" offers over 150,000 sq ft per cubic inch of accessible surface area. The media design is simple, basically very similar to live rock it provides a huge amount of surface area to develop bacteria which will then decrease unwanted nutrients and ammonia.







Chinese aquarium manufacturer Guangdong Boyu Group has launched a new LED based nano aquarium. The new curved glass LED lit tank measures 17.5 x 23 x 24cm. The light features a flexible neck to make adjustment easy. Although these are not available in the states yet, we don't expect it will be long before they do.
